What's a Street Team?
A Street Team is a group of dedicated United Way supporters who work to get the Live United credo out there. Street teaming isn't hard. In fact, it's a fun and easy way to earn free stuff just for sharing your passion about Live United and United Way's work in Education, Income and Basic Needs.

Getting Started
The first step to joining the Live United Street Team is to create a profile on the LiveUnitedSEM social network. The social network is your space to Live United online, track your Live United activities and to meet others in the region who are also Living United. And every time you do something on the LiveUnitedSEM social network - blog, create an event, friend another member, etc. - you'll earn more points. Your points can be used to earn free Live United swag and special invites to Live United events.

October 2008 Street Team Contest
All Platinum level point earners (400 points+) at the end of October will earn a Live United t-shirt. Here are some tips to quickly earn points:

• Create a profile: 5 points
• Create your own volunteer event: 10 points
• Create a group: 10 points
• Log in to the LiveUnitedSEM social network: 1 point per log in
• Share your story - tell us how you Live United: 25 points
